Semantic memory loss in Alzheimer Disease: Where it comes from, where it goes, and what to do about it.

The anomia in Alzheimer Disease (AD) derives largely from deterioration of semantic memory. In this talk we will review the organization of semantic memory, its breakdown in AD, and recent attempts to reinvigorate semantics using pharmacology and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
