The Institute for Research in Cognitive Science is pleased to announce CogSci2000, the Twenty Second Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society. The meeting will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, August 13-15, 2000.

Call for Exhibitors

We invite you to host an exhibit at CogSci2000, the Twenty Second Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society. The conference will be held August 13-15, 2000, at The Inn at Penn and the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania. The publishers' exhibit area will be in the main lobby, where conference coffee breaks will take place. Publishers are encouraged to set up exhibits on the evening of August 12, 2000 and to remain for the entire conference. The first scheduled conference activity is early registration, which will be held in the main lobby on the evening of August 12th.The conference will end on August 15, 2000.

Exhibitor Responsibilities

• Upon arrival, exhibitors should check in at the front desk at the Inn at Penn or the CogSci2000 registration desk to learn the exact location of their exhibit.
• Exhibits may be set up any time after 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th.
• Tables and table coverings can be available in advance by completing the form that accompanies this email; but exhibitors must fully assemble their own exhibits, including set up of folding tables and placement of table coverings. To assist representatives with set-up tasks, student workers will be available from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th.
• If electronic displays are included in an exhibit, all equipment, including extension cords, must be furnished by the exhibitor.
• Exhibitors are responsible for their own signage.
• Neither the Inn at Penn nor CogSci2000 will assume responsibility for loss or theft of publishers' materials or equipment from the exhibit area.
• Representatives must make their own arrangements for lodging and travel. Information about lodging and transportation is provided at our conference web site http://www.ircs.upenn.edu/cogsci2000/

Fees
The cost to exhibit for the duration of the conference (3 days - Aug. 13-15) is $100 per day which includes tables and table coverings and skirting. The cost of morning and afternoon breaks is $15/per person per day. There will also be two evening buffet poster sessions which you can attend for $30/per person (drink tickets are not included but will be available at the door).

Rental and Registration
Exhibitors are asked to register and indicate their rental preferences using the form below. Please complete and return the form to me before June 1, 2000. Please send this form directly to me by email or at jmacdoug@cis.upenn.edu, which you may do by cutting and pasting the text form at the bottom of this message.

In addition, please send a printed copy of your email accompanied by a check made out to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania for the correct amount to this address:
