In the program, Delay1, motors AC are turned on for an unlimited length of time. They’ll stay on while the program is waiting for 3 seconds and beeping sound #3 and then they’ll turn off. So the wait command delayed the execution of the rest of the stack. But things were happening during that delay (i.e., The motors were turning).

In the program, Delay2, motors A and C are turned on for 2 seconds. Then the program pauses for 3 seconds before it carries out the beep block. While this program is waiting the motors do not turn because they were turned off in the first block.
